Drawings of My Sweet Angels

Baby Kris
Baby Kris Jr. ~ the best son a mother could have.

He was always a good boy, going to bed on his own by age 2 with a quick "I'm tired" and crawl into the toddler bed. (Awwww)

Today, he walks his sister to school and does his chores everyday to make my life a little bit better.

I had him senior year in Undergrad at the University of Michigan. I was proud to walk across the stage with him in my arms. =)

Princess JJ
Jayden Simone, age 6 going on 16 ~ smart sassy beautiful little 6 year old mama, trying to do everything and know everything her brother does.

She has my eyes, and my sisters love of fashion and hair!

Jayden is shy and loud at the same time and utterly herself and into her full grown personality already. LOVE IT.

Enjoy your kids today, hug them and love them just as they are.

Before they grew up to become LITTLE MONSTERS!

Doodle 4 Google

Doodle 4 Google - a competition where Google invites K-12 students to play around with Google’s homepage logo and see what new designs they come up with. This year they’re inviting U.S. kids to join in the doodling fun, around the intriguing theme “What I Wish for the World.”

Both our country and the world are undergoing significant change. At Google we believe in thinking big, and dreaming big, and we can’t think of anything more important than encouraging students to do the same.

The Doodle 4 Google competition is open to all U.S. residents between the ages of 5 and 18 who attend elementary and secondary schools (i.e. grades K-12) in the U.S. Doodles will be judged in the following brackets:

* Kindergarten - Grade 3
* Grade 4 - Grade 6
* Grade 7 - Grade 9
* Grade 10 - Grade 12

All students attending private schools and home schools are also eligible to participate. The 4 finalists from last year’s competition are ineligible to win, but they are allowed to submit doodles and participate in this year’s competition.

Cast your votes here for the National Finalists between May 11th - 18th. The winner will appear on Google.com on May 21st. VOTE NOW!

Key West Rocked!

On the boat on the way home from the 3-hour boat tour ~ tons of SUN, snorkeling, sandwiches, and so much blue ocean SALT WATER! We were NOT PREPARED for the strong salty water to invade our lungs when we dived into the deep blue waters for snorkeling.

Patrick, Kris, Joe, Eddie, and Jayden ~ all dangerously close to the edge of the snorkel boat on our way to the biggest waves ever ~ and a bunch of adults in the water 'scared to death' of the jelly fish!

It was SO beautiful that day in Florida! I want to go back!
